Bushfire smoke blankets sky outside office block in Sydney
Shocking footage shows how thick smoke from bushfires now blankets Sydney causing chaos in the city.
Officer worker Pedro Cuccovillo recorded what it looks outside his building windows today (December 10).
He is heard saying in the background: "This is how bad the Sydney smoke is right now.
That's what you see outside the window."
The video then shows a hazy bird's eye view of the city shrouded in smoke.
He said that the smoke has been setting off the fire alarms in their building.
The low visibility has also affected the public transport system.
Buses have limited their journeys, while ferry and boat rides were canceled.
Authorities said that the current air pollution brought by the bush fires has been the longest and most widespread they had on record.
