A Canadian man was arrested for allegedly mailing an envelope containing white powder and a note indicating it was anthrax to a Manhattan bar, authorities announced on Monday (January 6).

On December 9, a New York City bar owner was sent suspicious white powder in the mail, prompting an investigation by NYPD's hazardous materials investigation unit.
