The controversy caused by a facebook post from city councilor ashley hicks.

She was advocating to build a homeless shelter on an empty property across from their mobile home park.?they don like transient like people walking through the park or snooping around?

After the post caught attention, mayor larry rich tells me the neighbors started expressing their concerns.

Turns out, the council was never considering the idea in the first place.

Now, they want her to pay the price?

If the council determines that hicks is guilty of a violation, she could be facing a number of sanctions.

Rich says she could have official travel privileges restricted or lose responsibilities.

They also want to ask her to stop posting about it online.?if you realize there panic going on at least get on facebook and say everyone it was my idea?

But goodrum says he siding with hicks.

He believes she was just trying to stand up for what she believes by giving a soultion to the growing homeless problem.?i think they need to look at her point of view and be a little bit more understanding?
