CGLA fundraiser

CGLA holds fundraising event today at the Trade Center.

For the chattanooga girls leadership academy.

Today, the odyssey awards luncheon was held at the convention center.

It's the school's major fundraiser of the year.

The c-g-l-a chief executive officer says this is one way to raise funds to prepare students for their future.

Some of the money goes towards helping students with their a-c-t's.

People attending got to hear the girls share their experiences.

"my favorite part of the day is listening to the girls tell their stories.

Tell what they've learned, what they want to become and watching them stretch their imaginations and knowing as the thing goes today they can reach beyond and scale new heights."

C-g-l-a was founded on the principle that each girl deserves an exceptional education.
