The two trillion dollar bipartisan package' goal is to alleviate the devastating economic impact of the covid- nineteen pandemic.

Earlier i was able to speak with louisiana state senator gerald boudreaux and he says this bill would definitely help business owners, distressed workers and most of all families in the area.

"i think i's a good thing because of their coronavirus, because it has people loosing their jobs, the unemployment rate is going to go up."

U.s congress worked hard over night to finalize the details of a stimulus relief package.

"the intent of it is to help rebound from this pandemic that w're dealing with from a financial standpoint and to have an infusion of dollars into so many different markets and so many different areas."

We want to say kudos to congress first of all, and hopefully this will help to relieve some of the tension and some of the pressure.

Ther's just so many unknown questions out there, ther's no answers yet.

So, while the ink is still drying on the bill, i can assure you that everyone is trying their best to move the needle and get this process started."

Boudreaux says the state will also see additional funds from the federal level as louisiana has been named as the fourth state to be declared as a major disaster area.
