Ponies make house calls to families in isolation in London

A horse stables in London is taking its ponies on visits in a bid to spread some cheer among people stuck in isolation due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Park Lane Stables in Teddington, southwest London, is accepting requests to take ponies up to homes where people are in isolation, keeping the visits contact-free.

James, an employee at the stables, explained the visits were to try and "boost people's day a bit" and because the pony, Annie's Whizz, needed the exercise.
