Many local restaurants in Chico are working to stay in business amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Other local restaurants are working to stay in business as well.

She hasn't had to lay any employees off but has had to adjust to many changes.

"there isn't that activity of people and the buzz we are used to in the restaurant that's fine we are making it work.

Like other restaurants- they are now only offering take-out and delivery.

The community has been supportive, there's a connection with people in a different way and we are happy we are here and we're able to stay open.

Right next door- a popular breakfast spot- also continues to serve the community.

Dee luna/owner of morning thunder: everyone has been aware and everyone is doing everything they're supposed to do, we're all helping each other.

Nats coffee michelle power: it's been emotional at times honestly, and not too far away- bidwell perk continues serving fresh coffee daily &.

Michelle power: people are very thankful that we are here and still open.

Kristian stand up: the lobby is closed but the patio is still open with extra space between tables, they have curb side delivery or you can use their walk-up window and get this- they also have wine and beer to go!

Michelle power: we definitely would encourage people to think of us when they want to treat themselves&.

Michelle power: my team has relationships with our regulars and it means the world to us when they walk up and we can greet them as if they were in the caé and continue to be in service&.

Scott schulman/owner of broadway heights: overall its been surprisingly good, we have a loyal clientele.

And in the heart of downtown chico &..broadway heights is severing up take- out and delivery&..

Scott schulman: the biggest challenge is getting the word out that we are producing food, we're making the stuff that we've been making for 28 years& overall its been surprisingly well, we've been here a long time, people are just happy we are doing and showing their gratitude and ordering a lot and leaving some tips which is cool scott schulman: support us, support everyone who is open we are doing the best we can, keeping people busy and getting a little normal.
