Sierra 4 hospital employees tested positive for coronavirus.

What can you tell us about the employees this morning?

We know two of the four staff members are nurses, according to jackson county commission chairman tim guffey.

We are working to learn more but hospital officials say they can't release any details because of privacy laws.

The employees are at home--- not here at the hospital.

The hospital notified anyone who may have been exposed and tested other employees but all of those tests were negative.

We also know the hospital is working to keep the virus from spreading by screening anyone who comes into the facility.

They are also checking the temperature of every employee several times a day.

At last check, there are 8 confirmed coronavirus cases here in jackson county, but guffey told waay31 that doesn't include all 4 employees.
