The Pakistani government opened its border with Afghanistan for three days from Monday (April 6) to Thursday (April 9) to facilitate stranded Afghan nationals to return home.

Footage from Monday shows scenes at a quarantine camp in Torkham, Afghanistan.

Those who returned from Pakistan should spend 14 days isolated at this camp, according to officials.

The Health Ministry said the total number of positive cases in Afghanistan is 423.

At least 11 people are reported dead from coronavirus in Afghanistan and 18 others have recovered.
