Coronavirus numbers by county: April 23, 2020

Updated statistics regarding coronavirus cases in Oneida, Herkimer and Otsego counties.

Start in oneida county...and an update on a question i asked at the press conference yesterday regarding the 20 people that tested positive yesterday.

I asked phyllis ellis if that large number had any people in either prisons or nursing homes...she said of the 20...5 were from either of those facilities.

Oneida 324 cases in oneida county....11 new ones announced today.

<change > 33 people are h hospitalized, 29 in the county...24 at mvhs, 5 at rome memorial...4 out of the county.

113 people have recovered.

Herkimer county..73 cases...3 new announced today.

<change > just one person hospitalized right now...37 have recovered.

And in otsego county no change...57 total cases no new ones.
