Colorado mum with terminal cancer sees daughter graduate high school

A mother dying of pancreatic cancer got to see her daughter graduate from school when the high school graduation ceremony was brought to her hospital room.

In April 2020 Lexi Roan posted the emotional moment on TikTok, where she received an outpour of support, with the caption: "A year ago today, I got to graduate in front of my mom before she passed a few days later.

Wanted to share my special moment." Lexi told Newsflare: "On April 8, 2019, I was able to graduate in front of my mom who was battling stage four pancreatic cancer for six months before.

"We decided to put together this graduation because one of my mom’s goals was to see me graduate high school, so we decided to bring the graduation to her.

"She was extremely medicated and was leaving for hospice the next morning, but as soon as she saw me, I saw her beautiful, true soul in her eyes, which was so special to me.

She passed away on April 15, 2019, the night after my senior prom.

She tried her best to push through so I could have a good night with my friends."
