State lawmakers will return to jackson on thursday to consider a plan to help small businesses affected by the coronavirus.
"every small business under a hundred employees could receive a minimum of $15,000 and up to $25,000 grant to help them restart their business."
Senator chad mcmahan said the plan being put together by house and senate leaders calls for that cash to come from a pool of 100 million dollars.
Small businesses would have to be in good standing with the state to be eligible.
