Today is the grand reopening of tyrol ski and sports and owner robb welch couldn't be happier.

It's been two months since customers last walked through the door...and when you walk into the shop, you'll notice some changes.

A number of different safety features have been installed.

Plexi glass now separates workers and guests.... and customers are asked to stay at least six feet apart.

Welch has also had to buy masks and more sanitizer to help keep the shop clean.

Despite extra costs to increase safety measures... welch said the purchases are necessary to keep his store up and running.xx tyrol-live sot-1 tyrol-live sot-2 "it's definitely an added expense we weren't maybe looking at as part of the budget, but it's a necessary expense to have at this point in order to be a business to stay open going forward.

Tyrol-live sot-3 welch tells me that business has been good so far on their first day and with the change from curbside to in-store -- they've been able to bring more employees back to work.
