North Iowa Youth Center prepares to reopen

It's not as easy as shooting a freethrown

Over 22 years, they've been helping youth in north iowa ?

"* giving them a place to hang out and learn some important life lessons at the same time.

The coronavirus temporarily shuttered the north iowa youth center ?

"* but now they're planning to open the doors once again.

Kimt news 3's nick kruszalnicki is live to tell us how they're getting ready.

"* there are lots of kids who are probably itching to come down here and shoot some hoops like i am ?

"* but reopening isn't as easy as a free throw.

I spoke with regan banks ?

He tells me they'll be strictly following c?

"* c state guidelines for disinfecting and cleaning.

For their inflatables, they'll be using a fogging system to keep them clean.

Kids will be wearing masks and there are plenty of reminders around the center to practice social distancing.

Banks is excited to be able to open we serve the community by the values that we teach the kids.

Respect, caring, honesty and responsibility.

Reaching out and helping our neighbors, volunteering.

Banks also told me they'll be doing temperature checks at the door ?
