Newswatch 12's alicia rubin gives us a look at what services are available for families in the rogue valley.

Alicia says:pearl funeral homes says their job never stopped.

They continue to work through the pandemic and they continue now the difference being that now family and friends can stand together as they lay their loved ones to rest gene says: i think it's been difficult for many of them not being able to have the service that they may have planned in right now with things opening up again that's when we're going to see people having services that have been postponed local funeral homes are all making adjustments -- during phase one, options for services were limited but now those options are expanding.

Gene says: inside gatherings can be up to 50 people we're going to our chapel seats 125 so that will allow for adequate spacing more people are allowed to gather in outdoor spaces, giving larger groups the availablity to remain together.

Even with more people allowed at services, there are some restrictions that remain in place.

Gene says: we're going to encourage people still to wear a face covering and they come to services and just be responsible there's also options to complete paperwork and meetings virtually or over the phone, to help minimize exposure.

Alicia says: i also spoke with multiple other local funeral homes and cemeteries throughout our region today they all say the same thing that they are adjusting to phase 2 requirements, allowing more people and are encouraging everyone to take the proper
