" a plan suddenly upended when 39- year-old carol barr died of a heart condition tuesday june 16th.

But u.s. representative andy barr says it was that same heart he fell in love with...well before he was a congressman.

"andy: she taught me things i didn't know she made me a better person.

But it wasn't just with me.

She was generous with everyone."

A kindness her 9- year-old and 7- year-old daughters knew made her special.

Besides her devotion to her job as mommy and wife, she also had a successful career in sales at pfizer and served as executive director of the henry clay center for statesmanship.

Life, like for most people, recently slowed down during quarantince...some thing she cheerished.

Caroline ruschell "her other friends and i would complain about being cooped up and wanting the children to go back to school, but not carol.

She loved it because she loved having her family at home, especially andy."

Her family she got to love on...a little bit more...and a love she's leaving behind.

Mommy gave us the best gift of all her love.
