Happening today... pg&e is set to start flying helicopters along power lines, checking for potential hazards.

The aerial operations will be happening in the red bluff, dairyville and los molinos areas.

You may spot helicopters close to the ground - about 500 feet.

Pg&e crews are looking for any dangerous conditions near the power lines and gather data of the surrounding environment.

The patrols are expected to run through july 1st.
