The pandemic continues to create issues economically... many across central kentucky turn to the catholic action center for help.

As more people need help.... it can be harder for them to provide some things... specifically meals.

Abc 36's cody adams has more on how you can help.

During the pandemic the catholic action center has not stopped serving people in need.

In fact it may have event stepped things up a bit.

The center serves a few meals a week to elderly and those who are food insecure.

Of course they couldn't do it alone.

A partnership formed to provide these meals.

Lundy's catering stepped up to provide meals.

Since then other organizations have stepped up as well..

All together more than 102 thousand meals have been served during the pandemic.

Now as a threat of a second wave of covid 19 approaches... the catholic action center, mayor gorton, the salvation army, and the hope center are asking for other organizations to step up and help in this time.
