City councilwoman calls on Colorado Gov. to stop sedation of agitated people with ketamine

A Lakewood city councilwoman is calling on the governor to place a moratorium on the use of ketamine to sedate agitated patients, after learning paramedics gave the drug to her boyfriend in January.

Aurora police are already under fire after the in-custody death of Elijah McClain last year, who may have suffered an adverse reaction to the drug.
