COVID-19 cases rising in at least 34 states

The United States has hit a new grim record..with more than 62,000 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24 hours.

Now the CDC predicts up to 160,000 Americans could die by August 1st as experts warn some hard-hit areas may need to reconsider their reopening plans.
