Groups supporting local musicians who have lost work during the pandemic.

Been immune to the coronavirus pandemic.

But thanks to an angel donation, a few organizations have found a way to help them out..

Executive director of soundcorps and the executive director of music therapy gateway in communications -two nonprofits- are trying to help area musicians who may have been affected by the pandemic.

News 12 spoke with professional organist buddy shirk and he tells us how the pandemic has effected him.

"it's hit me in every aspect of my life basically and i've just been scrambling to try to make things work, keep my bills current and keep everything afloat as most of my friends who are in the music industry."

So you can imagine.
