Foodstock music event helps raise money, and provide food for Catholic Charities

A group of local musicians organized the first ever "foodstock" concert in terre haute this past weekend.

It was all in effort to raise money!

The public was invited to the concert at american legion post 104.

Admission was a 5-dollar cash donation or non-perishable food.

They've been hit especially hard recently as the demand for help goes up but donations go down.

All those donations are now going to catholic chairities food banks in the area.

A total of more than 12 barrels of can or non-perishable food items were collected.
