East Webster high school held a second graduation for it's seniors in the middle the coronavirus pandemic.

East webster seniors were filled will joy earlier today.

Thanks to administrators and staff, students were able to have a traditional graduation.

Nat: students walking into the gym after the school's drive- through graduation in may, administrators and staff felt students deserved another one.

East webster's principal, corey stidham, said it meant a lot to the seniors to leave on a high note.

Sot: "we told them in the begginng we would give them a formal graduation to give them the best senior year they can even though they had a bunch of things they missed out on.

We're trying to end it the best way we can."

Trt; 10 vo: the 35 graduates were spread apart inside the school's gym to ensure social distancing.

Each student was allowed to invite up to four guests to maintain a 25% capacity.

East webster also asked families and friends to wear face masks .

Proud mom, vicky fulgham, said her son was grateful for today's graduation even though all of his family couldn't attend.

Sot: "my son uh he's pretty thrilled about it.

He finally got to graduate."
