PPE distribution for small businesses across Butte County

A giveaway of personal protective equipment for small businesses took place in several communities across Butte County Friday.

At the airport in chico... the parking lot was filled with cars lining up to receive free masks, and hand sanitizer.

The goal?

To provide30 surgical masks and one hand sanitizer per employee.

Volunteers distributed the gear... in a drive through operation: "it's been an incredible struggle in these last few months for businesses to figure out which way forward.

How to keep their employees safe, how to keep their customers safe.

Yeah we think being able to provide these supplies will enable them to get back to work but get back to work safely."
