One person dies following two-car crash in New Berlin

Has died following a two-car crash onstao county.

It happened shortly before three tuesday afternoon in the town of new berlin.

Police say a vehicle crossed over into the opposite lane of traffic and hit a vehicle head-on.

The person who was driving southbound was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver was taken to saint elizabeth medical center..

State highway 8 between route 80 and county route 25 was closed for nearly five hours during the investigation.

Police are not releasing any names until family is notified.

The investigation is ongoing.
