2020 Countdown to Kickoff: South Adams Starfires

We switch gears to the gridiron now...and we also switch gears from the n-e-c-c to the a-c-a-c...last year some of the best small school football came from that conference...and this year should be no different... and so our countdown to kickoff rolls on....and what better team to start with than the defending conference champion south adams starfires... last year was a storybook season for grant moser's squad...but it didn't have a storybook ending... despite racking up 12 wins, a sectional title, and the first a-c-a-c title in 26 years... south adams was bounced in regionals by rival adams central...it's a loss that's lingered for the stars...they return 17 seniors last year's team, including quarterback james arnold, who threw for over 31-hundred yards and 43 scores..

And oh, only his four favorite targets who accounted for over 37 hundred all purpose yards as well... because of that, south adams now enters 20-20 as one of the favorites in the conference and state in class one a..but they go in to this year with a little different mindset..
