Crews responded to that fire early sunday morning..

Prompting evacuation orders for the fruto area near state route 162 and county road 303.

Crews contained the fire at just over 700 acres..

No structures or properties were burned& and injuries were reported..

West legion avenue will be closed from warner street to citrus avenue from 6 o clock this morning until 6 o clock in the evening... as chico state students move back into the residence halls at about half capacity.

The university is filling dorms with one student per room.

The road closure here will last through thursday.

Housing representatives say once move in is finished..

Residents will not be allowed to have guests.

Chico unified school district and oroville high school are both set to begin virtual distance learning today as butte county still remains on the state's watchlist.

Kelly staley, chico unified school superintendent sent a letter to families.
