A DJ gave a California waiter an unforgettable tip when he handed the latter $1,000 that had been collected via a popular Venmo challenge.Brian Murphy, who goes by DJ Murph, shared a TikTok in which he surprised Peter Murray, a waiter at Lucille’s Smokehouse in Concord, with the gift.“I’ve asked everybody on all my social media to Venmo me at least 50 cents, right?” he said.
“we’re going to go out and tip a random server, so you just so happen to be that person, and you took care of us really well.
And so we raised $1,000”.Upon learning of the amount, Murray walks away briefly in shock.
