Across the mohawk valley have been working their fingers to the bone since thests pandemic to provide quality health care for their patients.
But they say recent actions by mvhs are putting those patients at risk.
Brand new since six-- local healthcare workers held a "stronger together" rally at kopernik park in utica to... as they say... motivate people to create change within the healthcare system.
Organizers say its been really difficult being a front line worker during the coronavirus especially with recent layoffs that have taken place at mvhs and they want the local community to know about it.
"in the last 4 months, our healthcare system and our hospitals have been stripped down to the bare bones as far as staffing and resources.
Our patients deserve better care than this.
Our community deserves better than this.they need safe care.
They need quality care.
There's really no excuse to not provide those resources to our community members."
Tonight's rally featured a live dj, food trucks, and a 50-50 raffle.
