Today - cal fire crews have entered the eight straight day battling butte-tehama- glenn complex fires within the complex have burned over 50 thousand acres and is just 13% contained crews are making some progress on containing the august complex in western glenn county.

The complex is made up of 20 fires.

It has burned 181- thousand acres and is now 11 percent contained.

Cal fire says it is threatening at least 100 homes right in western glenn county.

10 homes--have been destroyed... ## the "north complex of lightning fires" in lassen county has grown to more than 48,000 acres with just 2 percent containment.

The sheep fire within that complex is now at over 27- thousand acres.

Also in the north complex is the claremont fire.

That fire has burned more than 17,000 acres.
