Savannah R-3 Reports Covid cases (8-26-20)

Northwest missouri school district has reported two positive cases of covid-19.

Both cases come from the savannah r-3 district... the district says one positive case was reported at helena elementary... the other at savannah high school... the district is working with the andrew county health department well into this evening to notify families of students who were in close contact.

Earlier this summer the department hired two new contract tracers in preperation for these moments.

They're being told to stay home for 14-days.
