- however, about 69 thousand- dollars was pledged for the - creation of this home.- over 30 teams of women and a fe- men pledged their support - back in march.... and even- though teams weren't able to- help- build the house, they set the - foundation by signing the - studs and walls with uplifting- messages to show their- support.- - lindsay avery: "just because we- cannot- have volunteers, our mission- can't stop so we had to move- forward with the- construction of the home and we- invited all of the participants- out in blocks of time to- come check out the process and- they get to leave their love on- the house.
They are - signing walls, they are leaving- little blessings, including som- biblical passages.
