He is the owner of trifecta barbecue right here on st.

Clair street.

Tony, thanks so much for having us today.

Tony- owner: thanks for coming out today.

Lyssa- host: well, you know what?

Tony, we love your barbecue it's so good.

And you have this great new location.

Tell us about this.

Tony- owner: okay.

So this location is a lot bigger than my initial location.

And i'll tell you what, the people around here just really welcomed us when we first opened up.

Lyssa- host: i think that's fantastic too.and now you have something really fun, you have obviously word on the street is you have some of the best barbecue in kentucky.

So, let's talk about the different options.

I mean, we have a lot in front of us right here too.

Tony- owner: so, we have featured today, i got my turkey ribs, some wings with our flavor, flavor,some pulled pork and some brisket.

Lyssa- host: awesome.

And it's so good too and then you've got desserts as well.

Tony- owner: i do have banana pudding,pecan pie.

The peach cobbler is still in the oven so it's not quite ready yet.

Lyssa- host: oh, wow.

I'll just hang out a little longer here and we'll stretch the segment out.

So let's talk about too with covid with everything that happened how has that affected your business?you are open and you are ready to serve the community here.

Tony- owner: yes.

Yes.

So we are open.

We have been open except for the initial shutdown.

I was closed for a couple of weeks and i had to unfortunately lay off a lot of my employees.

But we're starting to slowly build it back up now.

Unfortunately, my first store i had to lose but like i said frankfort sure came out and supported so.

Lyssa- host: and you know because of covid you had to lose that other store but it was such a blessing because you did end up here in frankfort and you've got a great location, great facility.

Tony- owner: yes.

Lyssa- host: and what are your new hours too that you're going to be serving the public right now?

Tony- owner: so right now we're still doing tuesday through saturday 11 to 7 but if business permits then i'll stay open later on friday and saturday.

Lyssa- host: okay.

And then also talking about fridays too, the weekend you have some fun things going on down here on st.

Tony- owner: yes we do.

So now we're doing st.

Claire live where we close off both ends of st.

Claire and have a little party out here.

Lyssa- host: that's fantastic.

And what's the hours for that typically?

Tony- owner: 6:00 to 10:00 lyssa- host: 6:00 to 10:00.
