Monroe County Floods, Road Collapses, Closures due to Tropical Storm Sally

As Tropical Storm Sally continues to make its way, many surrounding counties are cleaning what’s left behind.

Car door.... and water pouring out.

Monroe county was also impacted by sally as heavy rain caused flooding and one road to collapse.

County officials are urging residents to look out for other flooded areas and collapse roads.

Dumas: i think we have six road closures that we are aware of that are flooded, and those are ebenezer road, montpelier springs road, treadwell road, and i mentioned english road, north rivoli farms drive and old brent road.

Public information officer, richard dumas, says people should avoid driving county roads until it's safe.

He says crews have been working to fix damages.
