The November election is coming up and your mail-in ballots will be arriving in the upcoming weeks.

Here is Rich Ober running for Chico City Council District 7.

My name is Rich over and I'm running to represent district 7 on the Chico city council we are living in extraordinary really difficult times and the challenges we are facing from Cove advisors from economic crisis to human suffering from lack of housing homelessness all of these crises mean one thing experienced leadership matters now more than ever are city council must include people who know how to get this critical work done I served on the chico Park commission for 10 years I serve on the Torres Community shelter board of directors I serve on the city of Chico Planning Commission and I serve on the Butte County Housing Authority Board of Commissioners I am proud of this history of community service and you can trust that this work represents a commitment to Chico and a commitment to you I have the experience we need right now to get us through these difficult times I love this town my wife family and I have lived in Chico for 26 years and for every one of those 26 years lived in district 7 we've lived in Chapman and mulberry and barber and now in the East streets I know these neighborhoods there where we taught our kids to ride their bikes I know these people they're my friends and neighbors and I know what Chico needs what Chico needs is visionary leadership Trust of experience and a Heart for Service and that's meet Rich over and that's why I'm asking for your vote so that together we can get this work done
