C1 3 :adliboff: the basketball cats are back to practice this week to prepare for their season.

What have the challenges of trying to stay healthy during a pandemic been like for the cats?

Hear from one of their assistant coaches coming up in sports.

We don't who they'll play or where, but college hoops returns november 25th.

And teams including the cats began full practice this week.

Just like other college athletes across the country...the cats have to sacrifice a lot of the social joys of college to make sure they play this season.

Social distancing means no going out and enjoying the fact you're a kentucky basketball player now...can't do it.

U-k assistant coach joel justus shined some light on how the new cats are dealing with that.

For the second day in a row...big news when it comes to the n-c-a-a and eligibility.

College basketball analyst jeff goodman reports the division council has voted in favor of giving winter sport athletes an additional year of eligibility.

They join spring and fall athletes in having that extra year.

Remember last winter, it was guys like nate sestina who missed the n-c- a-a tournament, but were not granted an additional year.

Now all college athletes will get an extra year due to the uncertainity surroung the pandemic.

The n-c-a-a has announced the nnment is coming unds of the tournament.

The madness well.
