Greater Lafayette Shop Small Scavenger Hunt kicks off October 16th

Greater Lafayette Commerce in partnership with the Main Street Committee is dedicating 10 weeks to a shop small scavenger hunt.

Sam jeff most of us are familiular with shop small saturday..

But now greater lafayette commerce is creating it's own shop small initiative that is fun and interactive for the whole family.

Greater lafayette commerece in partnership with the main street committee is dedicating 10 weeks to a shop small scavanger hunt.

The scavanger hunt features local businesses and invites the community to their store fronts..

By having them complete a scavanger hunt mission.

All people have to do to participate is download the goose chase app put in the code greater lafayette shop small and then they can start completing missions and earn prizes.

Rebecca jones the quality of life coordinator at greater lafayette commerce says particpating will help the local economy.

Local dollars help local businesses flourish and that's part of our initiative in this event.

The event is free for both businesses and shoppers to take part in.

There will also be covid-19 guidlines in place to keep everyone safe.

Several businesses have already signed up to take part but greater lafayette commerece is looking to add more.

The game goes live tomorrow and can be played until december 31st.
