Sixth district congressional candidate josh hicks, says he stands by mail-in ballots because it was the only voting option when he was a u-s marine.

Hicks met wis this morning at idle hour park, before he walked over and dropped off his mail-in ballot at the lexington senior center.

Hicks says early voting is the best way to maintain social distancing and help protect those with pre- exisitng conditions.

Hicks: "i think the absentee ballot was a great thing especially during covid-19, during this pandemic.

I have immunal comprimised members in my family so this was a safe way for me to make my voice hear to exercise my constitutional right."

Hick's opponent... representative andy barr.... has not said if he has voted yet.
