Laurel murder arrest

County, a man's accused of kidnapping his ex- girlfriend, her four children and her sister at gunpoint early this morning...and later firing a shot at a person at a business where deputies say he was trying to steal a vehicle.

Investigators say 56-year old william overbey, of london, still had a gun when he fought with deputies during his arrest.

They say after the reported kidnapping, overbey threw what he tought was everyone's cell phone out the windows...but deputies say he missed one...that person called 9-1- 1...which is how they found him.

He's in jail on a slew of charges, including attempted murder and kidnapping.
