Welcome back to newswatch 12 midday and meet our pets of the week, soda pop and cherry.

These two short haired calico sisters are just a little over a year old.

They both had kittens about the same time and came to c.a.t.s.

With the 9 kittens they had between them.

The kittens have all been adopted, and now it is time for these two mommas to find a good home.

They are both sweet girls, but soda pop, the one with more orange on her face, is a bit more outgoing.

The two have been together all their lives and are very bonded, so the shelter would like for them to stay together.

Cherry would particularly benefit from this.

There are more cats and kittens available at c.a.t.s., many of whom are black.

It is the policy at c.a.t.s.

That black cats and kittens do not go home during the last half of october, but they can be adopted and held until november 1.

We do this because sadly there are some people out there that tend to get carried away with the "halloween spirit", and take it out on all the sweet black cats and kittens.

Cats is doing everything by appointment only tuesday through saturday from 11 am until 5 pm with masks required.
