Shannon teenager charged with murder

Updated - The suspect, 17-year-old Randy Johnson of Shannon, has been charged with first-degree murder.

Faces murder charges after a shooting in lee county left one person dead.

Lee county sheriff jim johnson,said evidence shows randy johnson shot 21-year-old arlandus shack several times wednesday morning.

Sheriff deputies found bullet casings along the road and in the car shack and johnson were in.deputies also recovered the car and weapon used in the shooting.

Stand up: investigators say randy johnson is a student here at nettleton high school and is supposed to be taking vitrual classes right now but after further investigation, the teen has been charged with first degree murder.

When sheriff deputies arrived to the hospital, they questioned multiple people.

Sheriff johnson believes more people witnessed the shooting.

He says they are not looking to make more arrestes.

The sheriff said he is looking for more answers..

Things like that are what we are looking for from the general public."

The sheriff said he doesn't know much about shack's and johnson's relationship, but they knew each other well enough to be in the same car.
