Coronavirus cases are on the rise in Jackson county.

Daycare centers are taking precautions seriously.

Are doing their part and today newswatch 12's tyler ridgle looked into what other daycares are doing to stay safe and healthy.

Tyler says: a recent covid-19 outbreak here at animal house daycare has other daycare centers taking a closer look at their covid-19 precautions.

But is now closed following osha's report of 10 cases linked to the facility.

The executive director at kid time children's museum says kids there are divided into small classes so they can continue to interact.

Sot: well of course all parents are concerned.

But this is part of our daily lives now and i think parents just want to have something that's open, open communication and daily communication and that's something that we do regularly.

Vo: spicer says telling those associated with daycares about the possibility of a covid case is important for parents to know how to protect their families.

Osha began including daycares in their reports in july.

This is the first reported daycare outbreak in four months.
