The overwhelming majority of those quarantines are from east limestone high school!

Of the more than 200 district-wide - 169 students and 11 teachers are from this school.

Superintendent doctor randy shearouse says most of the cases are from students involved in sports and band.

Four students from the east limestone band, one student from the boys j-v basketball team, and two other students have all tested positive for the virus.

Because of this ... the entire band and basketball team are all in quarantine.

Eleven teachers are also in quarantine ... though none have tested positive for the coronavirus.

I n august ... between one hundred and 50 and one hundred and 60 students at the same school were asked to quarantine because of possible risk of exposure from students who had coronavirus symptoms doctor shearouse told us it's important to keep up safety protocols dr. shearouse/ superintendent "use precaution, make sure we keep everyone safe as we since the start of school on august 7th and we do have little times where certain schools will experience more cases than others."
