Manyof our veterans may have foundthemselves on hard times andmay not have the resources todo that.

That's why the HomeDepot in Pasadena issurprising the Maryland Centerfor Veterans Education &Training in Baltimore Citywith 60 buckets of wintersupplies and virus protection.There was another surprise aswell... We'd like to presentyou this check as well, for athousand dollars sir.... Ourvets are the heart of America,I mean they do everything.

Imean it's just really, reallyimportant to give back to themand the community.

Filling up60 buckets with materials is alot of work, but they didn'trely on corporate for help.They did it themselves.

Allvolunteered to get the productoff the shelf and put the kitstogether.

They're allvolunteer, they're Home Depotassociates.

There arecurrently 30,000 homelessveterans that sleep on thestreets in America everynight... Jeffery Kendrick is a20 year veteran of the AirForce, he is also an executivedirector for the MarlandCenter for Veterans Education& Training.

These donationswill go into use immediately.Tonight there will be a man orwomen who is sleeping on thestreets that will somehow cometo our doors.

Once they cometo our doors, they will be therecipients of these greatgifts that we got here forthem.

Kendrick has heard overand over, "Thank you for yourservice", but this will have abigger impact to thoseveterans in need.

So thisshows them that they arereally tanking them for theirservice and it's verygratifying and this touchesthem greatly.
