Police say 18-year-old deandrearrington was found lying on the floor inside 708 bar and grille on poplar avenue in the cavalry hills neighborohood.

Waay 31's sydney martin is live at the huntsville police department this afternoon- after talking to the owner of the restaurant about what happened.

Dan, najahe- this afternoon the restaurant owner did not want to talk on camera about what happened last night- he did tell me he was working at the restaurant last night when it happened and it's a tragedy for everyone involved.

Today- huntsville police haven't released a motive for the shooting or any information about a possible suspect.

The restaurant is closed today, and it's unclear if police have surveillance video of the crime- but cameras are posted around the business-- and police told us this summer they set up surveillance cameras in the area following a string of crimes.

Police responded to the restaurnt about nine thirty thursday night and transported the victim deandre arrington to the hospital in critical condition.

He later died at the hospital.
