Beyond the yellow ribbon of southeast minnesota is partnering with a local restaurant to feed loved ones of active duty soldiers this month.

Katie... george... beyond the yellow ribbon and canadian honker are teaming up to provide free holiday meals to families of soldiers who are currently deployed or have been deployed within the last year.

Here you can see some active duty troops getting ready for their thanksgiving meal.

Every day these troops put their lives on the line... which can have a significant impact their families at home.

By giving away 80 fully?

"* cooked meals... these organizations are working to alleviate some of the difficulties active duty families face... an effort which has only become more difficult in the age of "due to covid, we haven't been able to hold any events this year, so we brainstormed on a way that we can interact with our families at a distance, and maybe provide them with a little bit of relief this holiday season."

And these active duty families will have their choice of two enticing meal options.

Either turkey stuffing and corn... or roast beef mashed potatoes and green beans.
