C1 3 tonight we hear from the victim's sister and mom.

As abc 36's bobbi mcswine reports his mom says it's like she woke up in a bad dream.

###### "if you knew jordan, you knew he had dreams too big for this world."

Sabrina turner says her brother...jordan... was full of life...and had big plans ahead of him.

Sabrina turner: "we came from a very small town that is very poor, but jordan knew that that wasn't going to stop him."

Turner says one his passions were cars...and he planned to own an expensive one in the future...but for now...he deicided to start small...shortly after his 18t-h birthday...buying his very first one.

Sabrina turner: "he sent me a picture that night he got home, he said 'sis, she's a beaut.'

He went around showing me this car, and it's the smallest car you've ever seen but he was proud of it."

No one could predict that two months later...ledford would get in a fatal accident in that car.

His mother...christy ledford...says it doesn't feel real.

Christy ledford: "i just want this to be a dream.

My son can't be dead."

He was only miles from home.... at the intersection of boonesboro road and kentucky 388... when it happened.

The madison county coroner says ledford was thrown from his car and was pronounced dead early saturday morning.

His family says it was a hit and run...saying witnesses saw an 18-wheeler leave the scene...though investigators haven't released the exact circumstances other than it was crash....crews spent at least 12 hours reconstructing the crash saturday.

Christy ledford: "i hope their family never has to feel what my family is going through.the hurt knowing that my child is never coming home.i will never hear my child tell me or his dad that he loves us again."

The family is waiting for autopsy results.
