Christmas eve at churches will look different this year.

There will be some churches holding midnight services in person.

Many, though, will only be offering services virtually.

George, normally the street here beside the church would be filled with cars as dozens would pack into the church for christmas eve services but as you can see, this year is different.

Just like many churches, saint luke's will be having services online instead of in person.

To gather families together for the holiday, rector justin chapman was hoping to have a fire outside here but due to the weather, he decided not to.

He tells me what he is hoping for when congregants join today's services i hope it will make it feel a little bit like christmas even though we are all apart chapman is hoping services can resume in person in the future thank you jeremy.
