The byron bears traveled to austin for tonight's 1aaa title game.

But it was byron who was able to survive and advance to state for the first time since 2013 with a 52 to 50 we've been playing well all season.

We've got a really good group of guys and i mean i feel like our momentum started even before the season started.

It's really helped at time just knowing that we've got that chemistry.

Us five seniors, we've been together since fourth grade so i mean getting to be together every day especially when we had that break there where it was really just us nine guys in the gym, bonding, getting closer together ?
