This time the militants overran the customs port in Torghundi, also spelled Turghundi, Towrgondi or Torgondi, in Herat province near the border with Turkmenistan.
Footage showed the scene from a distance, apparently quiet after the takeover earlier in the day.
Yesterday the Taliban conquered the Islam-Qala customs and border crossing port, also in Herat but on the Iranian border.
It is the latest development in the Taliban's accelerating offensive to take over the country as the US and other Western nations pull out.
